An Army Soldier in a Captain America Shirt Pulled Three People from Two Burning Cars

A guy named Steve Voglezon was on his way to a mall with his girlfriend outside Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday, and saw two cars that just got in a head-on collision. (Steve looks to be in his mid-20’s.)

Luckily, Steve is a captain in the Army, so his training kicked in. First, he pulled a 59-year-old guy out of one of the cars while it was on fire.

Then he used a fire extinguisher to smash out two windows in the other car . . . pulled a 67-year-old passenger out and got him to safety . . . then went back and got the guy’s 63-year-old WIFE out too.

A few cops and firefighters helped, but Steve was the one who took charge. And it wasn’t until afterward that someone noticed he happened to be wearing his Captain America t-shirt that day. Captain America’s name in the comics is Steve too.

Steve’s being pretty humble about the whole thing, which is all on video. He says he was just in the right place at the right time, and people do heroic things every day.
