Someone Tried Impersonating the Nickelback Drummer to Buy $25K in Microphones

Most musicians would probably prefer NOT to be compared to NICKELBACK . . . but a guy in Florida named Lee Howard Koenig went for the opposite approach.

He was arrested for impersonating Nickelback drummer Daniel Adair to order $25,000 worth of microphones and other equipment from a company in Austria.

Koenig goes by the stage name “Mr. Wooky” . . . and he’s been busted for fraud before.  He even did a few years in jail.  By the way, Koenig was just using Daniel’s name, but in case you’re wondering they DON’T look alike.

(Here’s Koenig, and here’s Daniel.)
