Houston firefighter puts out 18-wheeler fire with beer

Craig Moreau is a captain in the Houston Fire Department, and on Monday he was off duty and driving on an interstate when he saw an 18-wheeler on FIRE.

The brakes had caught fire and one of the tires was burning. So Craig ran over, crawled under the truck, and managed to temporarily stop the fire . . . but it started up again and looked like the entire truck could catch.

Craig asked the driver what he was carrying in the truck . . . and it turned out to be a beer truck full of COORS.

So he and the driver started grabbing cans of Coors, shaking them up, and spraying them on the fire. And eventually, IT WORKED. They were able to put out the fire with beer.

We’re not saying this is PROOF that drinking Coors is like drinking beer-flavored water . . . we’re just giving you the facts.

Craig says, quote, “I have no doubt if the beer hadn’t been there, the whole trailer would’ve burned up.” His fire chief commended him for what he did.
