Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr Have Hit the Studio Together for the First Time in Seven Years

PAUL MCCARTNEY went to RINGO STARR’s home studio on Sunday, and Ringo posted a photo with the caption, quote, “Thanks for coming over man and playing great bass. I love you man peace and love.”

He followed that with six emojis, because it’s 2017 and that’s what you do.

He posted another photo of the two of them with Joe Walsh, and said, quote, “And look out Joe W. came out to play. What a day I’m having. Peace and love.” That one got NINE emojis.

Ringo didn’t say exactly what went down, but it sounds like Paul and Joe recorded some stuff for his next album. It’s supposed to be out sometime this spring.

This is apparently the first time they’ve recorded together in seven years. That was when Paul was on Ringo’s “Y Not” album, which came out in 2010. He played bass on one track, and did some vocals on another one.
